And I’m not talking about a stamp of approval either!
Canada Post is releasing a series of stamps this year commemorating Canada’s 150th birthday and the latest in the series pays tribute to Marriage Equality which was passed in this country in 2005.
The stamp was unveiled in Toronto on Tuesday at the 519 Community Center.
The maple-leaf-shaped stamp shows an image of a rainbow flag and the words “marriage equality” in both French and English.
It is the 3rd of a 10 stamp series that Canada Post is issuing to honour key moments in Canada’s 150-year history such as Expo67 and the creation of the Canadarm. The complete series will be available on June 1.
