PROUD FM Live @ Toronto Pride June 24 & 25

HAPPY PRIDE!

We are PROUD FM, the official radio station of Toronto Pride 2017!

On Friday we get the Pride weekend party started!  PROUD FM kicks off the Pride Festival Weekend with 2 awesome Guest DJ’s spinning live in studio…DEKO-ZE, 4pm-6pm & DJ JELO, 6pm-9pm!

Deko-ze:

Michael Babb is Deko-ze, the indispensable Toronto grounded DJ with a storied and triumphant history in Canada’s dance music hub.  Babb, who is openly gay, has been a fundamental element not only in TOronto’s fruitful house and techno music scene, but also in Toronto Pride Week!  His annual Dirty Disco South Stage Block Party, held in the heart of Toronto’s gay district, the Village is the lifeblood to a month long celebration!

DJ JELO:

JELO’S sound could be referred to as a wild mixture of the following: banging house, electro, electro house and techno. Incorporating the spiciest elements of house, techno, breaks and rock blended with wild mixing abilities gives this DJ the distinction of all-around artist, entertainer, and performer.

His straightforward ‘take the bull by the horns’ approach towards music and performing has kept Jelo amongst the top echelons of DJs in Canada. He was the first DJ in the Toronto clubs to usher in Speed Garage, Hard House, Nu Skool sounds and never sticking to one genre. An innovator of moving sounds, even Eye Magazine awarded him the prestigious “most innovative DJ’ award in their yearly DJ pools.
