Dutch researchers say they have pinpointed one meal that is healthier than all others. It’s so healthy, in fact, that eating it regularly could decrease your risk of heart disease by 76% – and add five years to your life – if you serve it once a week. Here is the menu:
- One glass of red wine…proven to help prevent heart disease, cancer and even asthma.
- Salad with chopped walnuts and a drizzle of olive oil…to help lower cholesterol levels and slow the aging process.
- Salmon teriyaki…prepared with at least two cloves of fresh garlic and one tablespoon of fresh ginger will strengthen your immune system, helping defend against everything from colds to cancer.
- Blueberries, one half cup…to prevent many diseases, improve eyesight and reduce inflammation, due to their stores of phytochemicals.
