The stars of iconic noughties and nineties comedy Will & Grace will return to the small screen this year with NBC announcing they have commissioned a ten episode arc of the show.
Actors Debra Messing (Grace Adler), Eric McCormack (Will Truman), Sean Hayes (Jack McFarland) and Megan Mullally have all been confirmed to return as has the show’s director, James Burrows, and the show’s creators, Max Mutchnick and David Kohan.
Notions of a Will & Grace reunion have been bandied about since last year when the show’s cast caused waves on the internet by posting a video ahead of the US presidential debate in which they reunited to voice their pro-Hillary stance.
The video obviously garnered attention in some high places with NBC brokering a return for the cast and series.
Speaking of the news, Mullally, who has gone on to forge a successful career on Broadway since the series’ last hurrah, wrote:
“It’s so freaking crazy that we are getting everyone back together after all these years…”
